Full membership is open to companies in the cryptocurrency sector which meet our market definition. This includes:
- Exchanges: A marketplace where traders can buy and sell cryptocurrencies using either fiat or alternative cryptocurrencies.
- Trading platform/brokers: A service by which you can buy and trade crypto assets at a price set by the brokerage.
- Comparison sites: Websites which provide data to compare the different rates of cryptocurrencies.
- Intermediaries: A third-party facilitator of crypto payments and transactions.
- Asset Managers: Facilitators of investment and trading of cryptocurrencies.
A separate category, Associate membership, is open to individuals, companies and organisations with experience or interest in cryptocurrencies, but who do not operate businesses that fall within the market – they may want to support the industry, or operate in a sector which complements the aims of CryptoUK.
